The Hole

· Synopsis	In an indecipherable space with a rectangular window, men and women sit by a small table, and within that space is a monster. The man, who is the protagonist, tries to escape but inexplicably keeps coming back to the same place again and again. Each time the man returns, people disappear one after another until he is alone with the monster and is eaten. However, when he comes to, the monster is also gone. The man licks his lips, and nobody knows who ate whom.

Defragmentation

· Synopsis	This work intends to depict a contradictory psychological phenomenon known as ambivalence by metaphorically comparing the digital process of defragmentation to a human thinking process. Explanations about theDefragmentation is a process of rearranging and reducing data fragments that occur in storage devices due to repetitive recording and deleting, in order to improve performance. This work applies the defragmentation process to a narrative structure and rearranges three episodes. The narrative units of each episode are distinguished by their unique color and are deleted and reassembled according to these colors. From the viewpoint of the main character of each episode, the narrative units that are deleted are “unbearable, painful things.” The stories that are not deleted are rearranged by filling in the empty slots left behind by the deleted units, making it look as if the deleted units never existed.

He believed that the alien was alive over the radio. However, he forgot about his friend as time passed. One day, when he became a grown-up, he stumbled upon his broken radio. It made him think about his childhood.

· Synopsis	The Rat yearns for the nightlife enjoyed by human beings. He looks with longing upon the clubs that are lit up late at night, but he realizes that he is just a rat. As he walks away in despair, he stumbled upon a hat. When he puts on the hat, he hears exciting music and is transformed into a human being.Although he has a human body, his mind is still that of a rat. So he steals food from a bakery and puts on clothes without any thought. And he takes revenge on the cat that used to torment him.

The student panics and falls over his lightbox. Suddenly, he is sucked into the lightbox and has fantastic experiences. But his fantasy soon ends. From the moment of the power outage, he had fallen asleep. He realizes that it was all just a dream and breathes a sigh of relief

A Very Berry Journey

· Synopsis	Six year old Sol’s mom is pregnant and one fine day in October near the due date, Sol has a dream of her mom and a fairy asking Sol to get strawberries. After parting with her mother in front of her kindergarten, Sol sets out to find strawberries. She aims to get strawberries at the grocery store but meets the fairy from her dreams and goes on a fantastical adventure, picking strawberries at a local greenhouse with the fairy. After being caught red-handed by the owner, Sol gets picked up by her father who takes her to see her mom in the hospital. With strawberries in hand, Sol greets her new sibling, whose face is uncannily like the fairy’s.

· Synopsis	This story takes place in a special place called the DMZ (demilitarized zone). Nature should not be one’s possession. It is destroyed by the greed of human beings. Nature will give help to human beings if they can live within nature itself.
