· Synopsis	<Footprints in the Sand> is a mixed-media animated documentary that invites four lymphoma cancer patients from South Korea to share their stories—a collection of narratives inspired by my family member, who, despite her ongoing battle with lymphoma, continues to help other cancer patients anonymously through a Korean lymphoma community website by translating foreign medical research. Through this film, I aim to create a space for sharing and listening that empowers those who are fighting cancer.

· Synopsis	One ordinary morning, the main character is heading to school when a strange man is suddenly flattened by a falling sign. When the startled character removes the sign, the stranger calmly asks, “Are you okay?” The character is startled awake from their dream, but from that moment they continue to be affected by the bizarre events and the stranger’s insistent question. Reality and dreams become mixed and a sense of anxiety builds. The character struggles to escape from the ever deepening nightmare but only sinks deeper into it as if falling through quicksand. Unable to discern dreams from the real world, can they break the chains of the nightmare and escape?

People Stuck in Between

Being and Nothingness

· Synopsis	This work is an animation that poetically explores the cycle of life in which various beings coexist. The video is an irregular sequence of landscapes and fragments of life. At the beginning, we see a person (A) going about his daily routine on a secluded hillside. Spending time with his dog, A moves to new places and passes through different landscapes and people. The camera reflects on the daily lives of the other people that the individual meets, showing the landscapes that permeate their lives. The point of view then expands, and we quickly see landscapes, cultures, and emotions from all corners of the globe. In the final scene, all these landscapes converge on a single point, the earth, and spread out like a wave, conveying a message of existence, cycles, and eternity to the audience.
