Ship in a Bottle

The man falls in love with her at first sight and imagines a happy sweet moment with her. He bravely approaches her with her broken piece of her mirrors, but soon turns back from her for spooky eyes on him.

Gang-bo tells his friends that he will leave their band in order to focus completely on studying for the college entrance exam, so Ye-mi and Gang-bo have a fight.Gang-bo is deeply interested in Hawaiian music, but he gives up his music because of his mother’s objections. Gang-bo feels bad for his friends because they can’t understand him. Gang-bo hesitates in the middle of the Hawaiian dance performance with his school friends. Ye-mi becomes the laughing stock on the street with her guitar, though she receives a divine revelation from the god of Rock & Roll.Ye-mi shares a conversation with the restaurant owner where she works; he used to be a musician when he was young, but he gave up playing music. At that moment, Ye-mi sees Gang-bo’s guitar being sold. Recalling their memories of playing music together pleasantly, Ye-mi gradually begins to understand Gang-bo and the hard decision he had to make.

· Synopsis	Woo-seok the inventor lives with his son, Jae-woo. Although Woo-seok is a talented engineer, he lives in poverty because he hasn’t made many inventions. But he works hard to create a better life for his son. One day, some clients come to him to buy his inventions. While dealing with the clients, Woo-seok becomes distracted by his desire for wealth and success. In a horrible accident, Jae-woo loses his arm. Feeling guilty, Woo-seok produces a robot arm for Jae-woo. After Woo-seok successfully transplants the new arm, a mob praises him. Once again, he becomes obsessed with wealth and success. As a result, Jae-woo suffers another accident and becomes absurdly mechanized. Now Woo-seok can no longer get close to his son.

The Cavity

· Synopsis	An old woman lives on the rooftop of a house. Whenever she loses her appetite or feels bored with life, she eats candy. Her oldest son comes to visit whenever he wants, just to leave his laundry. When he causes trouble, the old woman suffers as if her cavity is getting worse. When her real cavity starts to cause pain, she decides to pull out the rotten tooth. She doesn’t hear from her son for a while and thinks that she can finally have some peace and quiet. But after a while she goes back to eating her candy, craving the sweet taste. The moral of this story is that one’s daily habits reflect one’s life. The characters include a woman from a hair salon who is in love with the old woman’s son and is pregnant with his child. But the son has no intentions of staying with her. He gets his daily pay and hires a prostitute.

My Joshua

· Synopsis	This story is about a sentient cane named Joshua who sacrifices himself to rescue his blind owner Esther. Esther has been blind from birth, but she was never lonely because she was always together with her cane. Joshua was Esther's best friend and guardian. One day, they went out to pick mushrooms. Esther is an adventurous person who is always interested in the moment. So, Joshua always needs to watch out for her. She tried to pick up a poisoned mushroom. At that moment, Joshua jumped to her and guided her hand to a fresh mushroom. As soon as she picked it up, Esther expressed her love by touching his head. Joshua appreciated being with Esther. He went to look for other fresh mushrooms. At that moment, Esther stood up facing the forest while Joshua was away. When Joshua turned around, Esther got into trouble, but it was too late to catch her as she fell down to deep hole. Joshua was frustrated because Esther was all alone down there. He looked down into the pit. Esther jumped and reached for the top. She tried to climb the wall but kept sliding down to the bottom. Joshua realized that she could get out of the hole by herself. Finally, he decided to sacrifice himself. Joshua jumped into hole and wedged himself between the walls of the pit. He gave a signal to Esther to step onto his body to get out of the hole. When she stepped on Joshua, his body bent and snapped in half, but Esther reached the top. Joshua was broken, but he was happy because Esther was free. Esther cried as she looked down at Joshua. Her tears fell onto the pieces of Joshua's body and made a tree grow up where he has fallen. Ten years later, Esther touched her hand on Joshua’s tree. She can always be with him under his shade.
