The Cafe

· Synopsis	On a polluted world, human beings survive by finding resources in a trash heap. One family makes it their mission to farm in this barren environment. When the oldest daughter of the family turns twenty, she gets a summer job in a trash factory in order to buy clean soil and water. However, it doesn't take long before her dreams change. Like the others in the factory, she wants to spend her hard-earned money on a nice cup of tea. She works without rest for 10 years, holding onto her new dream. Her hopes are shared by a respected colleague who abruptly passes away. In a state of shock over her colleague's sudden death, she visits the cafe by herself.

· Synopsis	"Welcome to our hometown." When I was 12 years old, I left Korea and arrived in America where I have lived for 11 years. For me, Korea is a nostalgic and yet strange place. The school field, kids exercising to music, the sound of the school bell, the crowded windows of apartment buildings, the slow country roads, the tacky neon street signs at night. I created a collage of nostalgic images after searching through my faint memories.

At the Park

· Synopsis	In a forest covered with dust, people are walking their dogs with their leashes held tight. The dogs never come into contact with each other. A man pulls back hard on a bow, but there is no arrow. People wait in line to feed a duck. After eating all the food, the duck falls in a faint.

· Synopsis	The woman on TV has an unrealistic body shape and claims that the secret of her figure is having one apple a day. Another woman sees her and wants to resemble her, imagining herself to be fat as a pig even though she is already thin and emaciated. She imitates the woman on TV by eating one apple each day until her appetite becomes too much to bear and causes her to binge eat apples. Realizing what she has done, she is overwhelmed by the anxiety of becoming fat, forcing herself deeper into a corner.

Their daily routine is ruined, but little by little they accept what they look like and adjust to their new roles. Things seem to settle down, but the next day they wake up to find that 6 and 8 have switched bodies again. Once more, they are confused. Who is who and what will happen tomorrow?

You are My Sunshine
