Synopsis
The daughter can't forget the past, and the mother wants to forget. They live together as a family, but each creates her own language for herself. The two of them have a conversation about the past and the present.
Purpose
I made this documentary for myself. I felt the need to confront the hard feelings deep inside my gut before I could move on to my next project. I endured the harsh words that we used to hurt each other, drawing them frame by frame. Although the documentary has ended, the mother-daughter relationship has not gotten better. Perhaps we will watch this film again 10 years from now, but that is up to mother and daughter to decide.
