Synopsis
A little girl and a bunny doll are old friends. A dark shadow appears, and the girl tries to sew up the injured bunny doll. In a dark room with only a small light bulb, the girl sews to protect herself.
Purpose
I was afraid when my parents fought in my childhood. Even though the violence was never directed at me, I still have the most frightening memories. An article describes the recent spike in domestic violence. In our daily life, invisible domestic violence can sometimes appear. I wanted to offer a different ending for the boy’s future. He can follow his parents’ ways, or he can make a new world like the one in his fantasy, so we can keep our hope. I wanted to capture the contrast between the colorful universe and the rough, cold scenes in reality.
