Synopsis
To sculpt myself by other’s perspective!
The heroine, who is in her mid twenties is job hunting at the moment.
As usual, she is on her way back home from a tiring interview.
There are a lot of plastic surgery centers along the street in Seoul and many attractive men and women are passing her by.
Back home, she starts writing resume again,
All of sudden, among the stack of resumes an advertisement for plastic surgery catches her eyes.
She pictures herself now and fantasizes about how bright her future could be by looking at the before and after photos of a woman who had plastic surgery.
And she considers that the key to change her life for the better is to get plastic surgery.
She manages to build up the courage and lie down on the operating table for her bright future….
Purpose
It is not hard to find people with similar faces not only through the broadcasting but also in the real life.
One day I saw an advertising flyer of a plastic surgeon on the subway. There were pictures of before and after shot of a woman's face. The pictures of the woman looked incredibly different and it remained me a question "What would it be between the two women?
The cosmetic surgery advertisement only shows us a shot of before and after.
In other words, there is only the past and the future. But we live in the present where neither the past nor the future. People takes a risk getting plastic surgery...
I would like to discover what it would be between before and after throughout the film.
