Synopsis
Jun-hee wakes up in the advertisement for a BUYU apartment she longs for.
Then suddenly, space starts attacking her and makes her fall into the mall.
She also falls into numerous item whirlwinds at shopping malls.
At the moment of chaos, she sees a dim light deep in the floor.
Jun-hee decides to accept all gravity and to throw herself in the dark.
She rises above the river after passing through the deep darkness.
The water gradually drains and the floor is revealed. It's a ‘Goshiwon (cage home for examinee)’ where she lives.
Jun-hee sees glow-in-the-dark stars, posted by someone who passed through the room.
Purpose
The house that could have been returned at any time disappeared. Where should I go?
At the border between children and adults, I tried to draw a journey to find my house facing huge anxiety.
After graduating from high school, I went to Seoul and entered a Gosiwon(cage home for examinee). Looking at that place, I wondered if people could live here in real.
On the first night of the shabby Gosiwon, my mother called me full of worries.
To ease my mom's worries, I said, "At home, all I need to do is just sleep."
I left my childhood home where I could go back at any time. "Home" became something else from some point on. I had to pay what I didn't pay before and I had to get the space. The house, which seemed to be just forever, which had meaning as a being itself, seemed to have left too far away. It feels like I'm floating around somewhere. I thought the "house" itself had disappeared.
When the "house" disappeared for me, all the gravity that started there began to twist. Other tempting and colorful shapes were disturbing the mind where the anxiety came in. However, it could not be a house, either.
Then, a new definition of "home" was needed again.
What is “home”? It is about my first time preparing for independence.
