Synopsis
Seul-gi, a 12 yeared old girl who has difficulties accepting her dad’s remarriage.
Her stepmother Ji-yoon tries to approach Seul-gi by giving her gloves as a present, but Seul-gi doesn’t appreciate Ji-yoon’s hard work.
Meanwhile, Seul-gi’s true feelings of wanting to accept her stepmother go in the gloves, making it move.
After the mess created by the gloves, Seul-gi and Ji-yoon get closer, and Seul-gi, who realized the identity of the gloves, opens up her heart slowly.
Purpose
<Mom’s gift>is a story about two people who became a family through remarriage. I tried to tell this about the relationship between the two that could be heavy into a comical way to enjoy it. I hope this film could contribute to changing the stereotype of remarried families and stepmothers in a situation where the general family structure is being dismantled socially.
