Synopsis
Chae-eun, suffering from academic stress by her mother,
brings an origami robot home instead of her workbooks, by accidentally changing her shopping bag at the playground.
Chae-eun was surprised at first, but after when the robot folded her a beautiful bird origami,
she had fallen in love with it which made her neglect her grades.
Then one day, Chae-eun witnesses Grandma Junwoo, who was looking for the lost robot, which made her terrified.
As she goes through hearing harsh comments from her mother for not going to her academy and meeting Grandma Junwoo in the elevator frequently made her escape by going to the playground.
Barely hiding inside the rides, Chae-eun feels resentment towards the robot, pushing it away.
Unexpectedly, the robot falls hard and breaks down, causing a loud “beep- beep-“ alarm.
Chae-eun destroys the robot in fear of being caught but is soon discovered by her mother who came after her.
Her mother takes Chae-eun back, making her apologize to Grandma Junwoo and Chae-eun returns to her pressured life.
Purpose
The animation ‘ERROR’ shows conflicts between a teenage girl who is growing in educational competitions in modern Korean society with the so-called ‘Helicopter Mom’.
The cause of this conflict is the lack of communication between parents and children.
Despite experiencing these conflicts, the majority of the people do not resolve but leave them Chae-eun, suffering from academic stress by her mother,

Therefore, the story was planned by focusing on the conflict between the child and the mother.
I hope this animation serves as an opportunity to remind the audience of their concerns and hurtful memories about the conflict between parent and children that has been overlooked and to resolve the resentment in their hearts.
