Synopsis
I interviewed musicians who leave behind remarkable achievements in Korean pop music. This animation is about HAN Daesoo, who is the pioneer of folk music in the 1970s, KIM Soochul, who worked hard on Korean rock and Korean traditional music in the 1980s, Kim Hyunchul, well known as the godfather of city pop in Korea. Let's find out three important musicians in Kpop music history.
Purpose
From old Korean songs, I fell in love with the lyrics and melodies different from KPOP these days. Although Paul McCartney of the Beatles and The Rolling Stones are still performing and various generations enjoy their music, I kept thinking about why old Korean bands and musicians are limited to one generation.
I would like to let my friends know what stories musicians in the past would have had until the present KPOP existed. I would like to promote interest and pride in our songs by short animations not only musicians and music lovers but also the general public.
