Synopsis
The child gets his own room as the family moves into a new house.
He experiences a night of fear as he sleeps alone, away from his parents for the first time.
He tries to overcome the fear of the night by fighting monsters with the shadow man, a clone he created by ‘Shadow play’ which he used to play with his parents.
Purpose
I tried to express a child who felt fear of sleep independence and the process overcoming it in a fantasy way.
3D graphics are used to express reality, and 2D graphics are used to express illusions (shadow man, shadow monsters).
