Synopsis
The sense of loss caused by the death of a loving family haunts the protagonist. This sense of loss and emptiness is further maximized as the 'head', which is the part in charge of emotions, disappears from the protagonist. Nevertheless, we have to live by embracing and filling the void, so the protagonist eats.
Purpose
Death and life are not dissimilar. Like the protagonist, people live with the experience of death, loss, and emptiness, losing the upper part of their heads. We will have to continue to die with many deaths in our lives, and we must think about how to fill this sense of loss and emptiness. 'Meal' is a means for us to live and can fill our emptiness. It can be a meal that fills our stomach, or maybe we can stand up while eating some solitude.
