Synopsis
Yao likes to invent and leads a lonely life on a remote island. PePe, a genius inventor, stops by Yao’s island on its way to the Antarctic. PePe finds an incomplete model plane. Yao and PePe develop a friendship while conversing about new inventions. The next day, PePe leaves the island to go to a place where it can fix its ship. Yao feeling PePe’s absence discovers the completed model plane and reminisce about their short but powerful encounter.
Purpose
The story of NARANG NARANG demonstrated that friendships are not necessarily proportional to time. A genuine bond was formed on the basis of the short encounter between Yao and PePe. The emotional delivery of this film was facilitated by profound character development and delicate animating style. The intention of the fairy-tale and doll-like visual delivery of this film were to produce a film in which the whole family can enjoy.
