Synopsis
The fire has been surrounding me for as long as I can remember. It scares me, but I dance. Drawn by its temptation, I step into the ‘Forest of Memories’. There, I face the memory of dancing freely—and feel the emptiness of how reality has changed. I gather myself and try to dance again, but this time, the fire becomes a hand and presses me down. Even as I flee with my flattened body, the fire follows without end. Inescapable within the flames, what choice will I make?
Purpose
Pain is always by our side. How we choose to face it is up to us. Like stop-motion, where every frame is carefully crafted by hand, I believe there are certain truths we can only reach by walking through slow, deliberate effort. Through this work, I wanted to capture the quiet process of moving forward—without shortcuts, at one’s own pace, through personal struggle.
