Synopsis
KIM and PARK have been wandering the universe for 500 years in search of "answers" when they crash land on the strange planet of Spoilia. On its odd surface, they find an alien body and realize that the planet has more secrets to uncover. A mix of live action and claymation, this cosmic adventure was created by the director in his living room over the course of two years and three months with support from the Korean Film Council.
Purpose
In Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot," Vladimir and Estragon wait anxiously and without promise for Godot, who never comes. This mirrors the way people wait for answers in their lives. But what if Godot did show up one day? They might turn him away, insisting, ‘You're not Godot!’ or ‘We have to keep waiting here for Godot!’ The prophet who would offer the answer could just as easily be a spoiler, threatening the meaning of life. This film explores how people seek answers but aren't really ready to accept them.
How meaningless would life be if all our hopes could be fulfilled overnight?
