Synopsis
Yurim is a 5-year-old girl living in the backwoods with her mom and dad. There's one thing she worries about: her dad's awful snoring. Thanks to his snoring, her sleepless nights go on and on. Then one day, she sees the goblins from her dad's fairy tale…….
After she dozes off, a sudden clap of thunder wakes her. It is already dark outside, and there is a rainstorm with flashes of lightning. In the dark, the goblins from her dad’s picture come out from the bottom of the closet, the ceiling, and the crack in the floor…….
Purpose
I wanted to present goblins that have wit and individuality rather than the frightening monsters of traditional fairy tales. I depicted my personal experiences of noisy snoring that becomes a kind of tranquilizer, making me feel comfortable in a desperate situation.
