Synopsis
The inevitable flow of time and its repetition. Surrounded by invisible walls. Aiming for the shrinking exit under the increasing pressure. Can we find a way out? What is the true meaning behind all this? Mr. Particle wakes up and finds himself in a space where everything but himself is white.
He looks around with a strange feeling. He tries to move, but he is faced with a wall after only a few steps. He tries to back up, but there is another wall on the other side. He hits and kicks the wall in fear, but it is as solid as stone. He leans against the wall in despair. But soon he finds out that the walls are coming towards him from both sides.

Purpose
The flow of time, peer pressure, conflict, and surrender. The cycle repeats. I aimed to show how helpless one could be when he faces the unstoppable flow of time. Mr. Particle is a man made of particles like the grains in a sandglass. He tries to fight against the flow of time, but he ends up dissolving into particles that are swept into the flow. I wanted to show in a condensed way how this happens over and over again, regardless of his will. The pressure of time starts to matter much more when you become an adult. That is why I showed the young Mr. Particle jumping out of the frame at the end, to convey how free he felt. The sandglass is physically invisible in the film, just like the passage of time in the real world. But the sandglass has sloping sides that represent the inevitable end. I also tried to convey the message of reincarnation.
