Synopsis
Purpose
This natural rite of passage forces us to depart from the soft foods of our childhood into the solid foods of our teenage years and beyond - that is until we lose them again in our old age. This bit of pain and trauma makes our teeth stronger and metaphorically, it suggests a departure from the old and weak to the new and strong, a life lesson learned.
