Synopsis
The whale swallows the moon while traveling through the sea at night. With the moon gone, the night is filled with darkness. A man goes to look for the moon with help from a luminous fish.
Purpose
The Moon represents happiness. Happiness has always existed without change. What has changed is only the human mind and heart. The man thinks that the moon has disappeared because of the whale, so he sets out to find the moon. The first song "Whale Swallows the Moon" expresses the man's thoughts. The second song "The Moon Is Always In Place" expresses that the moon (happiness) is always in the same place. When listening to the song of the rabbits, the man realizes that the moon has not vanished but his own place has changed. Finally, he faces the moon and finds happiness again.
