Synopsis
The story about peace will become dance. Peace!
Purpose
‘Relay Animation’ is a project participated by our auteurs. We hope this be a good chance to make various attempts to exceed the formal limit of short animations through communication for the topic

This year, we introduce our fourth Relay animation project, the special project of Indie-AniFest. This is the fourth animation project after we have worked on the first animation The Tortoise and the Hare in 2010, The Water and Money’s Travels last year.

The agenda is Peace for the fourth project and we invited the participants. Our fourth project, PEACE is the film that our directors talk about their own peace. This project contains the stories about what damages peace, the peaceful moments and what is necessary for peace. While we had meetings for the project, we had a lot to talk about and something we should talk about. Peace could spread from a trivial thing to grand discourses, sometimes meaning a peaceful situation or sometimes the action for peace. It has infinite meanings, so we would like to work on it; most of all, we’d like to make peace. Nothing to speak of. Yeah, let’s dance together first.

Next year, the agenda will also be ‘Peace’ for the Relation Animation. This is the first step to talk about peace in animation. We hope that more auteurs could join us. We’d like to thank you the animation directors for the fourth Relay Animation project as well as the music directors including director Kim Dong-wook. Thank you for being always with us.
