Synopsis
Two boys named Nam and Yo-hwa meet a boy named San who is crying sadly in the mountain. Filled with curiosity, Yo-hwa touches San's tears which are transformed into mysterious, beautiful stones. Nam is blinded with desire for the beautiful stones, and his greed causes him to harm Yo-hwa. At last, San's sorrow and tears create a huge lake. Nam tries to gather up the stones made by San's tears, but he falls in the lake and sinks underwater.
Purpose
This story is all about greed. To show this theme, I made up an oriental tale. The “tearstone” provokes greed which is the main theme, so it is connected to the whole story.
