Synopsis
Jess the wizard made a shiny string that connects her to a child named Piz. Piz breaks the string to become free but ends up regretting it after getting lost in the dark and scary woods. Afterwards, Piz feels thankful for being connected to Jess.
Purpose
The film shows the relationship between parent and child (or a creator and their creation). To a child, the limitations set by parents can seem oppressive. But through this film, we wanted to show that parents just want to be protective while providing everything for their kids. The "line" is an important element that propels the story and represents protectiveness and care, an intimate and fulfilling relationship, and responding with gratitude and fidelity.
