Synopsis
One day, SungJin (the protagonist) comes across his ex-girlfriend, SoHee, in the subway. SungJin quickly recognizes her, but SoHee does not recognize him. SungJin has no time to speak as she walks away. He follows her with his eyes, feeling something is out of the ordinary. He realizes that his muffler’s yarn is being unwound as she moves further away. SungJin starts to run after her in a hurry, reminiscing about his past and becoming conscious of what he treasures the most. He starts to run in order to take back her heart.
Purpose
“It's choice - not chance - that determines your destiny.” Like this quote, the film expresses that even if an event is a mere coincidence, our choices and effort are what determine our destiny.
