Synopsis
Five-year-old Eun-Woo is one year older, and so is his mom.
Now that the two have moved to a new home, they begin a new period in their lives as Eun-Woo starts to sleep on his own. But despite his mom's hopes, Eun-Woo begins to show some odd behavior.
Will Eun-Woo, who has a one-sided hearing problem, be able to live just like the other children?
Purpose
Child care is a difficult problem for a mother, even with the help of a grandmother or a preschool facility. The guilt from being unable to care for the child comes off as agitation to the child and continues to grow as a result. For the sake of the family and child, the mother has to distance herself from the child.
When Eun-Woo listens to the floor with his one ear, he is searching for "stability" in his mother’s arms. Listening to the floor, refusing to go to bed, and shouting... He is acting out against his mother yet also sending a "signal" of wanting to be together. It is a story about communication between a child and his mother.
