Synopsis
The Wonder Hospital is the story of a young girl's mirage-like journey in a hospital which exists in her imagination, perhaps conjured by her vanity and subconscious thoughts about beauty. Inside the hospital, the before and after pictures commonly found in plastic surgery ads reinforce the girl's subconscious ideals of beauty and makes them into reality, but in the most unexpected and ironic way.
Purpose
A surreal journey through a mysterious hospital alters the perception of physical beauty. In this film, plastic surgery is portrayed as one of the optical-illusion devices invented by mankind.
