Synopsis
One day, many trees fall. Some of them die; some of them still breathe. At night, one tree stump dreams. It grows again against gravity. However, it is not strong enough to reach the sky. Its dream moves to the moon. And pieces of moonlight on the moon free themselves and fly over and over.
Purpose
There is a small mountain behind my house. I climbed there two or three times a week. I especially liked waking along a road in the mountain with tall, old tress on either side. One day, when I went there, every tree on the right was cut down and lying on the ground and there were a lot of tree stumps. A few days later, new cherry blossom trees replaced the old ones. And also, from the top of the mountain, I could observe, over two years, other mountains disappearing for a new city construction. I feel everything around us is being replaced by something new. I have never seen who is doing this; I don't know who wants it. The only thing I do is observe the scene and imagine the story before and after it. Now I want to tell this story.
