Synopsis
Characters became victims of circumstance at a de-militarized border. Individuals are manipulated by the political powers that lead characters to extreme.
Purpose
A core idea of this animated film is to depict how characters are engaged with a tragic affair. The motivation of this story is also from the interviews which revealed the history of violence in South border villages around De-Militarised Zone in Korea. I was interested in how animation is able to interact with those real-life incidents through fictional interpretation that calls up the past and the present.
